And I can't find an umbrella anywhere in this house. You know how some houses have sock gremlins that steal single socks? Pretty sure we have one with a fetish for umbrellas. But this one shall do...

I never carry an umbrella (native Oregonian, dontcha know) but I might if I had one like that.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually carry one either but I sure wish I'd had this (or any umbrella!) earlier today when I nearly drowned walking a few blocks to the knit shop.
ReplyDeleteNot being native to the rainy side of the state (this one as well as my birth state to the north) I used to be an umbrella carrier. That is until I lost all pretense of caring and ditched my stylish coat for a weatherproof one complete with hood. Oh the joy! However I must admit a walk with a smart jacket and this umbrella does sound mighty appealing.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I've been thinking a lot about my stubbornness on this subject a lot lately, walking around in sodden wool coats and leather-soled shoes. I just got my first ever fleece though, so maybe a waterproof jacket with hood is just around the corner for me too!
